ACCORDING TO HIS WORD...

Milton, here:

Here is Kristy greeting our congregation on Sunday. The video is just over 9 minutes. Listen carefully to all of it for it will speak to your heart.

The Lord had Kristy share for someone needs to hear this so desperately. Saturday night Kristy had a very strong burden and desire to go to church on Sunday. She had not been able to attend a church service for several weeks.

Friday she had been very ill and doesn't even remember how sick she was. She had experienced confusion and short term memory issues. It was very difficult for her to get dressed and ready, but she just wouldn't quit. She had to go to church to worship, hear the Word preached, and share a profound message for others.

It is utterly amazing to me that she spoke so clearly and with such power. It was God's anointing on her to help others.

It certainly was a joy to start the morning off with a Kristy Dykes preaching. Your joy and faith are contagious, Kristy & Milton. And the music was so anointed. Thank you for this. Once again, you've blessed my day, and I intend to pay it forward.

Love you both!

Awesome. You positively glow with your love and faith in Christ. I am blessed to "know" you--even if only through this blog.

May God continue to bless and strengthen and comfort both of you.

Praise God, He DOES know what each of us needs! When you broke into song, my heart soared and I sat here praising the Lord for his wonderful care. He is our Shepherd and the One who sticks with us every step of the way. He is our Protector and our Guide, our Comforter and the Lifter of our head. He wipes our tears and gives us hope. We know that wherever our path leads, He will meet us there.

Kristy and Milton, your story has touched my heart far more than I could ever express. It's not about the cancer or the treatments. It's not about the journey itself. It's about JESUS, and how He fulfills his promises and stands with us. He can turn the darkest of days into a victory march! Hallelujah!

Praise God from whom ALL blessings flow--even the ones disguised as cancer. Thank you both for allowing such transparency. You are precious in His sight and mine.

What a blessing this was, I watched every second of it, I was ministered by the song you sang, if you can sing that, I can sing that...in some circumstances that are far less then my ideal or dreams...HIS ways are higher than ours, aren't they?
Romans 8:28 is living out in you both.

Kristy, your life does count. God is using you and your whole family to soften even the hardest of hearts. To see such courage and dignity in the face of adversity renews my own faith in God. He knows what we all need - if only we would listen. I read your blog every morning as a part of my devotional. I praise him for every day that he gives us as a gift. Thank you for allowing us to share your journey. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Jesus does know what we need even when we don't! We must trust Him even in the really difficult places. We don't have to understand--just trust.

Love you very much,

Dear Milton and Kristy,
I loved the video. Thanks so much. What a wonderful testimony of God's love and faithfulness. I know Kristy's words will continue to touch many. She is showing us how to trust and praise the Lord every day on our journey, no matter what we face. God is with us and He can carry us through. That's huge!

Love and prayers,
