KISS ME...
Milton, here:
I just walked out of our bedroom where Kristy is resting straight into our office to the computer where I am now typing.
I had moved only a few steps out of the bedroom and when she called me back.
"Kiss me," she asked, and I did. Sweetly, warmly, so tenderly we kissed.
"You smell good." she whispered and smiled and dozed again.
Kristy had a very rough morning with pain, nausea, vomiting, and confusion. Her strength has been weakening and the tears and aches have been intensifying.
This morning she looked into my face, deeply into my eyes, deep within my soul, feeling the overwhelming drawing motion towards.... Her concern was that the meds would dull her senses and faculties and that she would not know who I am or recognize others. She was concerned that we would not be able to communicate with viability and clarity.
She held me close and we prayed and we felt God's cloud of peace and chair of strength.
She is a lady of faith and a women of passionate love.
Keep Kristy and us in your prayers.

Jesus shares your joys and your sorrow. I am praying for this period of your life together. It is a tender, sacred time for you and Kristy. Cherish it.
With tears for Kristy, I'm praying Milton. I'm lifting you up, too, knowing how hard this is for you.
It has been said that a "kiss" when received by someone you truly love, brings healing to the soul. You expressed how sweetly, warmly, and tenderly was the kiss you shared. So precious, so moving are the words with which you describe your love for each other. Your LOVE is so described in the Song of Solomon. God's Love is greater, still. He so lovingly brought to you that "cloud of peace, and that "chair of strength", which Kristy and you so beautifully describe. How beautiful!.....FATHER, IN THE NAME OF JESUS ~ I PRAY FOR YOUR HEALING POWERS TO ENCOMPASS KRISTY'S AND MILTON'S LIVES AT THIS VERY MOMENT! YOU, AND YOU ALONE, CAN BRING PEACE THAT SURPASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING! WE PRAISE YOU FOR THAT PEACE AND THIS AWESOME MANIFESTATION OF "YOUR STRENGTH IN THE MIDST OF THE STORM!" Peace, peace wonderful peace, coming down from the Father above - Sweep over my spirit, forever I pray, in fathomless billows of love! PRAISE THE LORD, blessed be His Name.
Kristy, Milton~ you are loved. I am prayinig unceasingly for you both.

I am so thankful that we can call on God because we feel helpless. We wish we could fix it all. Still praying for a miracle and God's peace at this time.
Pastor Dykes,
You and Kristy are in my prayers daily. Even in this moment, your unwavering faith in God is a blessing to me. What a testimony. I know that our Father is pleased. May God shower you with His peace that passes all understanding.

Dear Milton and Kristy,
I am lifting you up tonight, asking the Savior to hold you close and pour out His comfort and grace on your hearts. Thanks for letting us know how Kristy is doing so we can know more how to pray. Please give her our love and a hug and a kiss from us.

Milton,
From a heart that has known the aches that torture yours, prayers go out for you and for Kristy.
Milton & Kristy: My heart is heavy and burdened for you and yours. Don't forget when God told us that He'd never put more on us than we could bear. Please know how loved you both are, by so many Godly people all over the world! Prayers are going up for you at this very minute! Still praying, and still believing... ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE WITH GOD! A Praying Friend
Milton and Kristy,
Psalms 103:13-14; 13 Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.
14 For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.
Love you and Kristy,
Dad
Several of us from FHL and ACFW have formed a prayer chain and are praying for you and Kristy and your family round-the-clock. I'm in the 9-9:30 a.m. block, but often say a prayer at other times throughout the day. Please know that you all are on our minds and in our hearts, and that we pray for God's comfort for you all.
Dear Kristy & Milton,
Thank you for allowing us to be part of your lives...for sharing your faith, love, laughter, and tears with us. Thank you for showing us how to draw strength from the Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit as you've walked through the valley and gave us the privilege of praying for you. We continue to pray for healing, strength, and the Lord's "cloud of peace" to surround all of you.
Please tell Kristy--A GOLDEN VESSEL OF HONOR--that we love her.

...They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint." You're in my every prayer. I pray for God's supernatural strength to overcome you both this morning.
Milton, you've no idea how you and Kristy are ministering to all of us, by opening your heart and sharing such a delicate, heart wretching time. We are able to lay on our faces before God and weep and come before Him in your behalves, because we feel like such a part of you. I've prayed that you'd "feel" His arms surround you this morning, that the warmth of the Holy Spirit would clothe you.
Teach us Lord to wait on you, and to not faint.
Love you, from Tennessee
There are so many 'Christain' blogs out there; some are based on critical topics and leave you feeling wounded. Not the case with your's and Kristy's; your blog wants me to become a better person, christian, mother and wife. I read your post everyday and become more and more convinced of how a real christian family operates. You are touching thousands and I am sure numerous ones are being saved through your story. I hate that it is through the pain your family is suffering but I am still praying for a miracle; if that doesn't happen I have witnessed the most inspiring family that and love story that will continue to bless people through the years.

Kristy and Milton, I'm continuing to pray for y'all. Kristy, you're loved by everyone who knows you. Milton, you're a wonderful example of the type of husband Christ wants all men to be.
Kristy - You have been in my prayers since day one. I speak your name to the Lord each morning when Bob and I join together for our morning prayers.
As always, you are an inspiration to not only all who know you, but to those who don't but have been drawn to your blog by the love and passion you share with Milton and with the Lord.
May God hold you both close and give you strength and grace to deal with this illness.
My love to you both,
Gail
Dearest Kristy & Milton; my heart is broken for you. Your blog is on my desktop and is the 1st thing I check in the morning. Your precious love story has gone around the world as you have shared your hearts during this most private time in your journey. Do you know how you've touched lives? You are ministering healing to others even as you are looking for it yourselves. As a lon-ago friend and fellow classmate from SEBC, I saw your love birthed and grow and have followed you thru the years. Just want you to know that the ladies at 1st A/G in Lexington, KY are great intercessors and are praying for you both. I send lots of love and prayer your way. Stay strong and lean heavily on our Lord who knows what we are in need of even before we pray! - -Annette (Barr) Grahl
I loved the verse from Zephaniah.
This part particularly touched me. I heard it in a way I never had before.
He will quiet you with his love.
You're in my prayers.
Kristy,
We are only connected by the FHL loop, but I feel I've gotten to know you these past five months by reading your blog. Your faith shines bright.
Please know that I continue to keep you and your family in my prayers during this challenging time.
Blessings,
Cynthia
We kissed first time at the wedding altar. Thank God for his grace! It was awseome...
