Milton, here for Kristy:

Walking together is the most enjoyable way to stroll. Dreaming life's visions, achieving worthy goals, sharing the joys, and bearing the trials and burdens are what we committed to when we chose to walk together.

That's what we've done. We have walked together--hand in hand and heart to heart.

Holding each other is dearer, more precious now--though it has always been sweet. But now, we have keener perspective and we need each other more than ever.

We will walk together--together through the valley and together to the mountain. That is our life commitment. Nothing has changed except learning and knowing that walking together is all that matters.

How is Kristy?

She is having another very rough, sick day. She has asked the girls to come quickly and they arrive Friday afternoon.

Keep her in your prayers. Please keep us in your prayers.

Praying for you and your family. The only thing left to pray is in the Spirit (and that's actually a big thing) and trusting you all to the Lord. He is good.
God Bless,

We continue to pray for the Lord's perfect will in all of this, Milton and Kristy. We pray for His cloud of peace to descend, so that you feel His strong, loving arms around you. No pain. Just His peace and love and glory.

We thank you for sharing with us His love and the love you have for one another. You're a shining example of what a Christian marriage should look like.

God bless you abundantly!
Love & Prayers,
Nancy & family

Milton and Kristy, I've never left a comment here, but I've been reading daily now for quite some time!

You both are amazing people to share your daily feelings, fears and trust of GOD with us.....complete strangers, friends and family!

My prayers go out to you both and your families, and I hope that tomorrow is a better day with the days to follow!

Praying for you daily,

It's wonderful to have someone to walk with you through the storms of life. I don't know what I would have done without my wonderful husband for the last 27 years. He's been there through sickness and health. I'm grateful that Kristy has a strong man to hold her hand during this tough time. I'm sure she would do the same, were the roles reversed.

The best part is that we all have a Heavenly Father who cares and understands our deepest emotions. His arms are big enough for all of us.

Praying for you, Milton and Kristy, and your daughters and extended family.

Dear Kristy and Milton

You have both been such a Godly inspiration and example. Thank you for sharing your heart with us. I have been reading your blog and praying since November. My prayer is that God will touch pain and sicknes...that God will protect the girls as they come home, and that your family will have a blessed time of fellowship. May God's love, mercy, and goodness surround and fill you with His peace.

I think one of my favorite verses in the Bible is Romans 8:26: "For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered."

When the words are no longer there, know that you are not alone, and that God knows your heart because the Holy Spirit is speaking to Him for you.

You are all in my prayers and in my heart.
