WE'RE GONE...

Kristy and I are on a two day get-away at Amelia Island. We hope to post some pictures later. She is doing well with some challenges.
The last post, HOW LONG?, with the one word text, FOREVER, was a continuation of the previous post dealing with our mortality and eternity. We live forever. It was just short and too the point.

These recent issues have made us clearly aware of the the full scope of our lives.

Have a wonderful time at Amelia Island! Make some precious memories and enjoy every minute. : )
Next week, my sweetie and I are returning to the city where we were married 30 years ago. It should be a wonderful time to walk down memory lane together and enjoy each other.
Thanks for reminding us of the rewards of faithfulness and long-lasting love. No wonder we enjoyed writing Wedded Bliss together. : )

Your love and dedication has sparked such a fire within the lives of my husband and me. I am so happy you're there at Amelia Island--that precious time together is so needed. A song that my husband and I love is a song by Jim Croce - TIME IN A BOTTLE.
If I could save time in a bottle...The first thing that I'd like to do...Is to save every day till eternity passes away...just to spend them with you.
If I could make days last forever...If words could make wishes come true...I'd save every day like a treasure and then...Again, I would spend them with you.
But there never seems to be enough time to do the things you want to do...once you find them...I've looked around enough to know that you're the one I want to go through time with.
If I had a box just for wishes...And dreams that had never come true...The box wold be empty...except for the memory...of how they were answered by you.

I'm 59 and he's 69, and our love is so vibrant and stong. God has been so wonderful to keep our love fresh and new, everyday. You're such an inspiration to all us married folk, we love you dearly!
