HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

Milton, here for Kristy:

Kristy gave me two beautiful, wonderful, most precious daughters, Julie and Jennifer pictured above her bed. She has loved them, cared for them, and nurtured them all the days of their lives. Her love reaches out even now in sweet, brief whispers.

Thank you Kristy.

Happy Mother's Day

WITH All MY LOVE AND GRATITUDE,

MILTON

Kristy rested through the night and woke early talking some but with pain. Our faith and trust in Him keeps us and sustains us. He is faithful.

Praying that this will be a glorious Mother's Day for you and your family, Kristy.

So many are praying for you. Please find great comfort that your children and your husband will never be without prayer covering after you are gone. I just know God is moving the hearts of many souls to keep them covered in prayer throughout time.

Isn't that the beauty of the body of Christ?

We love you sweet sister!

A Mother's Day blessing for your precious family:

Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts.
--2 Thessalonians 2:16, 17

Praying for each of you by name...

Lord, bless Kristy this Mother's Day. Bless Julie and Jennifer with happy, fun memories of their growing up. And let Kristy know how much she means to so many people, especially her writing friends in ACFW.

Wishing Kristy and her family a beautiful Mother's Day. This post made me cry, but then again, most of them do these days. We don't understand the ways of God, but we can take comfort in knowing that all is well and all will be well, as long as we hold to His hand.

Much love to Kristy from an AWSA sister in Texas.

Dear Milton, Julie, Jennifer and precious grandchildren,

I pray Kristy is awake enough to let you know what she sees and hears. No eye hast seen what the Lord has prepared for those who love Him, but I'm looking for even a little taste of heaven while I'm here.

May the glory of the Lord rest upon all of you. "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles."

Blessings, blessings, blessings to the Dykes family, Lord God. Please give Kristy kisses and hugs from us.

I am thankful Kristy is at home with you and wearing her favorite color, turquoise.

She loves her family so much and has made her house a home.

It is fitting that she be with those she loves the most.

God Bless you all.

Hi Kristy and family,

I have prayed for you since I heard about you having the tumor, and my thoughts and prayers are still with you. I am a member of ACFW and so admire you and your works. I want to read Church in the Wildwood. I love the title. You have been a blessing to many through your speaking and writing. God be with you and your family, in Jesus' name I pray. You bring sunshine to sunny Florida with your red hair, smiles, and writing and speaking. May God bless you and yours and keep you wrapped in His loving arms.

Two precious little girls recited Proverbs 31`from memory in our church service today. As I listened I couldn't help but think about Kristy. No Kristy isn't perfect as are none of us, but she sure epitomizes a woman of noble character!

Happy Mothers Day, Kristy. I still say you look amazing for all you are going through. It's the beauty of the Lord shining out from you.

Mother's Day Greetings to Kristy, Jennifer and Juile! I loved seeing both photos and thinking of the Angels watching over you all.

Kristy has been a great example to her daughters and so many others. She has taught many of us how to improve our writing skills and use them for God's glory. But even more importantly she has taught us how to love our husbands and children, how to serve the Lord with joy, how to partner with our husbands in ministry, and how to trust God even when we face the most challenging trials. She has been an awesome example and shines like a beautiful star in the heavens.

I am praying for continued peace and comfort for Kristy and all who love her. Your love story is touching so many. Thanks for allowing us to share this journey with you.

Continued Love and prayers from NJ
Carrie

Milton and Kristy
Not a day goes by but what you are in our thoughts and our prayers. Not having all the answers can be frustrating. We know that our steps are ordered of the Lord. That should give us peace, but we still struggle with reality. Know that you are greatly loved and that you have touched so many. Thank you for your life and the way you live it. You have encouraged and inspired. Only eternity will reveal how much you have meant to so many. Again, please know that with each new day, you are in our prayers.

Kristy and Milton, you have been on my mind all day. I pray Kristy can enjoy this day and that God wraps his loving arms around all of you. Following this story has made me pause and give extra thanks this year for my own mother. I always buy her a gift but this year I sent flowers and took dinner to her and dad after church.

Your family is a blessing!!

Milton, I'm praying for you, Kristy and the girls! Your family is like a lighthouse, shining brightly through the storms of the night, leading the way in the dark.

"There's a lighthouse on the hillside, that overlooks life's sea. When I'm tossed, it sends out a light, that I might clearly see. The light that shines in darkness now, will surely see us oe'r - for if it wasn't for the LIGHTHOUSE, this ship would be NO MORE!....And, I thank God for the Lighthouse, I owe my life to Him - Jesus is the lighthouse, and from the depths of sin - He has shown a light around me, that I might clearly see - if it wasn't for the Lighthouse, tell me WHERE WOULD THIS SHIP BE? --- Everybody who lives around us, they say tear that lighthouse down, the big ships don't sail this way anymore & there's no use of it standing round, but then my mind goes back to that stormy night when just in time, I saw the light - twas the light from that old lighthouse standing way up THERE ON THAT HILL!"

Milton, Kristy and Girls - I'm standing with you.

Love and Prayers,
Cathy
