SHE'S FEELING BETTER...
Milton, here: 5:53 PM, EST
We just got home from her MRI at Mayo. We won't know the results until tomorrow, but the good news is that she is feeling better and more human.
No fever, headache, or nausea. Praise God!
It has been a rough few days, but our faith and trust in Jesus is strong and sweet. Just read the past posts by Kristy and hum the songs she's singing. You'll feel better too.

Kristy, that is great. I will continue to pray for your success in battling this cancer.
May the Lord be with you,
Margaret
Kristy,
From a fellow writer and brain-tumor patient (me) - Isn't ACFW blessed to have two of us??!!
Anyway, I'm surprised your docs took you off the steroids before the radiation was complete. Mine kept me on until 3 days after, and then began a slow wean over about 2 weeks. (Of course, I needed a lot throughout the radiation to keep the swelling down.) And, I learned that radiation effects/side effects can go for weeks after the radiation is completed.
Have you tried ice packs for your head pain? They helped me a lot.
Praying for God to hold you close, to shield your head/brain (didn't know there were Bible verses on shielding our heads, until I got the tumor!), to relieve any pain, to reduce all swelling, and to remove any fear.
And, in the powerful name of Jesus, Satan, you get away! Get behind Kristy and shut up!
God is able - ALWAYS! Praising the Almighty who made you and has known you and your days before you were even formed in your mother's womb. He knows what to do, and I'm trusting him to do it!
Love,
Nancy LeSac
Kristy,
I'm glad you are feeling a bit better. I continue to pray for you and God to win this battle.
Hugs!
