GOOD MORNING, WORLD!

Milton, here for Kristy:

Kristy has right in front of her computer screen where I am typing a plaque which reads, "Lord, help me to remember that nothing is going to happen to me today that you and I together can't handle." --An old preacher's greeting to each day

Forget the old preacher's part, but remember the Lord is with us today.

Romans 15:13 has long been a key verse in my life, "Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope through the power of the Holy Spirit."

Keys words in that verse beyond "God" and "Holy Spirit" are:

Now

Hope

Fill

Joy

Peace

Believing

Abound

Hope

Each word releases the promise of God's goodness and blessings beyond measure for today.

Good Morning, World! NOW THERE IS A HOPE!

How is Kristy?

She slept most of Tuesday, but ate and then had confusion in the night. She is weaker and speech is harder.

She had a weak smile and praise in her heart as she drifted off into sleep last night.

This is a new day, we will rejoice and be glad!

Please keep praying for Kristy and us.

May the Lord bless you with a wonderful day!

Habakkuk 3:2

LORD, I have heard of your fame;
I stand in awe of your deeds, O LORD.
Renew them in our day,
in our time make them known;
in wrath remember mercy.

I curse that cancer in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, as
Christ did the fig tree and said we can do the works He did and greater! I command that--dead--tumor to dissolve and float away in her bloodstream and leave her body, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Savior and Lord. I ask the Holy Spirit to flood her with God's presence and a fresh anointing, granting her long life.

And I pray that many others will agree in prayer, Matthew 18:18,19.

Thank you, Lord, for hearing this prayer.

Hi Milton and Kristy,
I remember Kristy quoting the words from that plaque several times when she wrote one of her encouraging emails to her writer friends in ACFW. She would always begin with: Greetings from Sunny Florida! You could just imagine her smiling as she typed those words to us.

Kristy has always been known for her positive, cheerful outlook, and she blessed so many with her encouraging words. Her tone was always hopeful, always looking up and expecting good things from God. I so appreciate her example and often think of that as I prepare to write an email to a friend or to ACFW.

Milton, it is a blessing and encouragement to us and to Kristy that you are focusing on God's hope and trusting in Him. Keep looking up!

We send our love and prayers to you all today,
Carrie in NJ

Milton & Kristy,

Your lives are anchored to Jesus. What a message you are sending to the rest of us. It reminds me of the old hymn that we rarely sing...but let your hearts listen to the words:

ANCHORED TO JESUS

Upon life’s boundless ocean where mighty billows roll,
I’ve fixed my hope in Jesus, blest anchor of my soul;
When trials fierce assail me as storms are gathering o’er,
I rest upon His mercy and trust Him more.

I’ve anchored in Jesus, the storms of life I’ll brave,
I’ve anchored in Jesus, I fear no wind or wave.
I’ve anchored in Jesus, for He hath power to save,
I’ve anchored to the Rock of Ages.

He keeps my soul from evil and gives me blessèd peace,
His voice hath stilled the waters and bid their tumult cease;
My Pilot and Deliverer, to Him I all confide,
For always when I need Him, He’s at my side.

He is my Friend and Savior, in Him my anchor’s cast,
He drives away my sorrows and shields me from the blast;
By faith I’m looking upward beyond life’s troubled sea,
There I behold a haven prepared for me.

I’ve anchored in Jesus, the storms of life I’ll brave,
I’ve anchored in Jesus, I fear no wind or wave.
I’ve anchored in Jesus, for He hath power to save,
I’ve anchored to the Rock of Ages.

Hi, Milton! Robin Davis here. I just wanted to tell you that Andy and I are praying for you and Kristy daily. Saturday we ran outdoors around 5:00 in the afternoon to see the shuttle go up - what little bit we could see from Lakeland - and I reminded Andy of the time you and Kristy were going to see the shuttle go off from a distance, wherever you could find a place, and God favored you with seats that were up close and personal. Do you remember that? It think it was through a conversation you started with a gentleman at a McDonalds. Anyway, it just reminded me of the little things God does for His faithful servants. May God bless you and Kristy with many of those little blessings today. We love you dearly. Robin Davis (rdavis@penflorida.org)

That song, "Anchored in Jesus" is absolutely phenomenal this morning!
I know the words and reminder have blessed you today.

I'm praying and believing God for a special miracle in both your lives! Praise be to Jesus!

Love and Prayers, as always ~

I'm grateful that Carrie reminded me of Kristy's trademark beginning to an email. "Greetings from sunny Florida!" Like Carrie I always pictured Kristy sitting down there with a huge smile on her face, and she probably was! It's been a very long while since I've seen that sentiment, but Kristy is still shining and will shine even more when she is with Jesus.

Praying for you all.

Writers feel so much, our imaginations are so vivid and in tune with people. I hurt for you, watching Kristy grow weaker.

I'm praying.

We talked about 'Florida Weddings' today and Kristy having a book out this month so she's on my mind even more so than usual.

continuing to pray - trusting that God has only the best in mind for us, His children, even if we don't understand or see the bigger picture, ourselves. He is worthy to be praised. Lord, please touch and heal this beautiful woman - Your will be done. Please encourage and lift up her husband, children, family and friends. May their pain only draw them closer to you. May your joy and peace fill and heal them. In Jesus's Name, amen

The devotional on MustardSeed Ministries seems to apply. I pray it becomes a blessing to many. We won't give up on Kristy. I continue to pray, knowing that God will heal and bless her with His plan and will in mind. I will always remember her postings that began with Kristy Dykes from sunny Florida. Her attitude is as sunny as Florida. May God bless.
