Choose to Trust...

We felt God's mighty power as we walked into the cancer center for Kristy's first treatment. Thousands prayed and we felt the prayers.

Then something unusual happened.

The therapist came out and said, "We have a problem. Our machine isn't working. Its broken. It has been working all day, but it won't work right now."

Our faces were blank at first. The therapist waited for our response. Obviously there wasn't anything to do but to accept what she had said. (This is the latest and newest type of radiation equipment.)

Then I said,"This is a little funny. Thousands of people maybe tens of thousands are praying for Kristy around the world. I guess all these prayers overpowered your machine."

God knows and we choose to trust Him. The prayers were heard and a miracle is on the way.

I felt led to ask all of you to pray today for a Miracle on Monday. I choose to believe God was doing something higher and greater than could be done by man. His ways are higher.

On the way home, Jennifer said, "Dad what do you mean when you said that the machine being broke was kinda funny?" A few moments past and then she said, "Now I get it. It is funny. All those people praying and then the machine breaks."

But then she said, "God is at work. We choose to trust Him."

Thank you for praying. God's people are the best!!!
I believe a miracle happened on Monday.

How is Kristy?

You should have seen the face of the neurosurgeon who saw her this afternoon just before going for the radiation appointment. We were sitting in his office waiting for him. He finally came in....took one look at Kristy...and had this "I can't believe how good you look" on his face. In face he said, "You look really good."

She was taken back briefly at having to wait for the radiation, but then realized with us that God is at work.

Ladies....Listen Up!!!
The Lord is giving me a word to speak to you. I will share it soon.

Keep praying for Kristy....for us. I am blogging at her request.

I agree. Kristy looks amazing. Perhaps God wants to heal this without radiation. We will continue to trust God for whatever he has for her. I feel something amazing is about to happen.

So instead of a Miracle Monday, how about a Triumphant Tuesday?

I've worked in healthcare all my adult life. You don't want a machine that isn't 100% a-okay and fit to treat. God knew what He was doing when the machine failed...it failed to protect Krisy because it couldn't do the job it must do.

My take, and you already know you have my prayers. Will be on duty tomorrow, same Bat-time, same Bat-channel.

AMAZING!!! Amazing in a very good way!!! Maybe the doctors need to take another scan. Maybe the Lord has already healed Kristy, and no radiation or chemo are needed?

GLORY TO GOD!!!!

Oh my. Our God is a creative God. I was on my knees at 2:30 Central time and are we to presume she has the same time tomorrow? Even one of my non-writing friends is praying and emailed me from her office she couldn't send an email because it was time to pray for Kristy!

I'm reminded of God not sharing His glory with anyone--or anything like a machine? Hallelujah!

I'm with everyone else - get another scan! During my prayer time today, I was praying so fervently the tears were flowing and suddenly, I felt as if God said, "It is done. Prayers have been answered."

Also during my prayer time, I prayed through many Psalms. 103 is my own personal favorite, so when I came to it, I sort of skipped over it, not wanting to put my own message into my prayers. But God insisted I go back to it, and I read Psalm 103 several times, clearly with God saying "This is for Kristy." When I got off my knees and back to the computer, I saw others had been sent to the same Psalm.

God is definitely at work here.

Continuing to pray. May God send Kristy a miracle, this side of Heaven - and a great big THANKS if it is indeed already done! Praise God from Whom all blessings flow!!!
