JENNIFER HERE,:
What a shock to hear, "The machine is broken." But it came to me in the car driving away from that highly expected appointment that all this means is, we are going to trust Him even more!!! Perhaps it was the devil who threw a monkey wrench in the plans but we are NOT going to be discouraged. We're going to make the devil mad because on the way home we praised the Lord and spoke out about His goodness to us and are continuing to praise Him! He is a good God! I had an overwhelming sense of victory and said, "Mom we've got the victory! Jesus holds the keys and we are victorious!"

Kristy and Milton, I'm a glioblastoma researcher and I ran across your blog today as part of an automated search we do each day for glioblastoma news. After a quick look at your site, I feel compelled to write. You appear to be wonderful people with a strong conviction and support network, dealt a medical blow which still appears to be almost random in origin. But I must tell you that yes, as in Milton's words, you do appear to be "kooky, foolish people." Using your religious faith to pull you through tough times is one thing. But God is not going to cure you. Only science, research, experience, and your body's constitution can heal you. Saying childish, naive things about magical miracles and devine intervention are not going to cure you. Fighting a GBM is an extremely tough battle which is fatal in 95% of patients. Use your faith and church to lift your spirit and sustain it, but do not flitter away your time worrying about holy oil and remote prayers...get going with your research, treat the GBM as aggressively, read Ben Williams' book "Surviving Terminal Cancer", mobilize your family and friends to become your medical experts, never rely on the advice of just one doctor, use what time that is given to you to make positive changes in the world, make peace with those you have trespassed, and get busy living! Do not sit around waiting for miracles, lest your family be bitterly disappointed. You do not need prayers, you need medical mercenaries! Good luck on your journey.
I dont know who this John gut is, but .....ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE THROUGH GOD!!!! We arent "waiting" for miracles as they are already happening. Keeping the faith and you both in our prayers...Rick & Peggy
God is already hard at work, sending Kristy a miracle, this side of Heaven.
Prayer Warriors, keep it up - you-know-who is getting a bit angry!
Praying without ceasing!!!
Praise the Lord is all I can say. I believe John will keep coming back for updates. It must be awful to be without personal knowledge of the Saviour and not have the sweet peace that knowing Him brings.
Prayers are still going up!
John: We are not foolish people who make the mistake of pitting God against medicine. We believe God uses doctors and gifts them, but if you really do research on GBM, then you know there is no known medical cure. That is where God comes in and His supernatural power. Ultimately, God has the final say in everything. That is why we trust Him.WE will do all we can in the medical arena and we will do all we can in the spiritual arnea too.

Her Husband, Milton
Kristy,
I've been praying for you every day since I read your message to the ACFW loop many days ago. I have asked my blog readers to pray, and I know God moved today. He loves you, loves all of us so much, loves you, John, and appreciates your work as a researcher, sees everything we do, and has sent this message through that broken machine: "I am still in control."
I praise Him with all my heart that He's watching over you, Kristy. My heart spills over with love.
You and Milton have inspired me. I gain from reading your blog. I admire your spirit and positive attitude. God bless you! We have victory in Jesus.
Hey Friend, do not let others discourage you. God is with you, and those who are without Christ listen to the enemy.
Jesus is the True Physician.
Isaiah 43
2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
3 For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.
4 Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.
5 Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;
6 I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;
7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
8 Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears.
9 Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and shew us former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth.
10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no savior.

Our kind friend John in the first post doesn't want people hurt and disppointed. I understand that. I wish I could direct him to my blog about my friend instantaneously healed of CP when a few people prayed for him.

By the way, a lot of good Christian people today don't expect miracles. I would recommend they read _Surprised by the Power of the Spirit_ by Jack Deere of Dallas Theological Seminary. *Formerly* of Dallas Theological Seminary, that is.
Yes, Milton, may God do something only God can do! We'll give him all the glory.
God bless~
Job 9:10 He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted.
Psalm 77:11 I will remember the deeds of the LORD; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago.
Psalm 77:14 You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples.
Acts 19:11a God did extraordinary miracles through Paul
Gal 3:5 Does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you because you observe the law, or because you believe what you heard?
Heb 2:4 God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will.
Psalm 20:7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.
Love Covers.
Our God is the same yesterday, today and forever. Thank You Father.
I do not believe for a moment that Satan put a monkey wrench in the radiation machine.
I am part of the group praying for Kristy and my prayer is always for God to be glorified.
If it will glorify God more for Kristy to show her wonderful faith until the end (which she will, no matter how long she lives) of if it would glorify Him more for her to be cured as we are asking, then that is what I want. What we all want.
God knew something was not right about that machine yesterday and prevented something. PRAISE HIM. And He will guide the tech's who fix the machine so it will be safe for Kirsty.
Or does he have something else so wonderful in store for us that we cannot begin to immagine?
Isn't it amazing the love that flows over these wireless connections and fuse our hearts and minds together with Him?
I love you Kristy. You are a winner, no matter what happens.
Milton, when I first saw John's post last night, I immediately want to post something back but I knew that you would. Instead, I immediately let the ACFW Prayer loop know. Now we are praying stronger than ever. We want God to be glorified either way in Kristy's illness.
John and others, God is the God who heals - Jehovah Rapha.
God gifts all of us. He gifts writers, plumbers, doctors, techies, and researchers. He uses doctors to effect healing. But at other times he does miraculous healings. Yesterday, somewhere I am sure there was healing going on when there was no medicinal hope.
I have known people who have experienced miraculous healing. Here's a link to the testimony of healing on Brandilyn Collins' web site. Brandilyn is a friend of mine and I can testify to the truth of this healing. Brandilyn was extremely ill with Lyme Disease when God responded to prayer and healed her. This has been verified by her doctors. http://www.brandilyncollins.com/healing.html
Dear Kristy and Milton,
God intervenes in our lives in mysterious ways. There have been times in my life when I had car problems, was running late for appointments, etc., when I know God was sparing me from perhaps a car accident or other injury. I believe this was the case yesterday. It was certainly not a coincidence that the machine worked until it was time for Kristy's radiation treatment. God is a work. We need to stand back and watch the Glory of the Lord as it is unveiled through Kristy.
Christians are not weak-spirited people who are naive. We are BELIEVERS! Praise God, the Holy One. We BELIEVE in His righteous power and ability to heal. By His stripes we ARE healed. I have cold chills running my body as I think of the glory of God and what He is going to do in your behalf that will reach thousands of people.
Keep the faith and know that hundreds of God-believing, God-fearing, God-praying warriros are holding you up every day.
Your Sister in Christ,

Kristy and Milton,
I know that you believe God for healing, and you don't limit your Daddy to how He heals. Only man in limited. I believe that you are utilizing both prayer and medicine as God leads. Healing is often to confound the wise and show God's power. Jesus could have gone to Lasarus and healed him before he died, but then we would not have seen God's power to raise people from the dead. None of us will know all the hows and whys of God's workings on this side of the veil, but we do know that He has a plan for our lives and that it is good, but it is not always easy. Kristy and Milton, you're doing everything right. Keep on trusting in God's timing and goodness. I know your testimony during this time is a witness unto itself and we don't know how many people will come to know our Daddy God as a result of this. Blessings.

The fact is we don't know why that machine went down yesterday but I do know that regardless the reason, our God WAS glorified! We trust Him and praise Him regardless.
As for what John said, I don't think we are foolish people at all. We very much understand that GBM is fatal. We won't be "bitterly disappointed" if my mom doesn't receive a miracle. Frankly in my opinion that isn't the most important thing in this journey. Just as I know GBM is fatal, I also know God is bigger and I'm not going to limit Him. My prayer is: May His will be done. Amen.
My first thought upon reading about the machine is that God is going to do something miraculous here. No machines necessary.
And John, and others who are following along in lurkdom, will see the salvation of the Lord through His miracle.
Praise Him!
Don't be discouraged by people like John. They are all over the Internet... dropping in on people of faith's sites and posting critical comments. And they are cowards, because they don't allow comments on their sites. They just want to go around and criticize other people. The thing that people like John fail to realize is that true Christians aren't affected or offended by the words of unbelievers. We only pray for them and pray that they will one day know what we know, and that is that our GOD is greater than any disease. Whether He chooses to heal or not, does not mean that He can't. There are too many people--myself included--who have been healed by his miraculous power. Yes, John, God is able to heal. I know because I was healed of cancer almost 40 years ago. And I have a dear friend who had a brain tumor, very similar to what Kristy has. He had the best medical care, and trusted in GOD to do what man could not do. He's still living, some 20 years later. You've come too late to tell us any different.
