THE SONG CONTINUES

Milton, here for Kristy:

Kristy slept a good part of Friday. I think she needed a day to recoup from such a surprising and wonderful Thursday afternoon. I have shared her favorite family sing-a-long, I Found Happiness.

She has not stopped singing. Friday evening we were listening to some beautiful worship music on my Nano Ipod. Even though she was very tired, she would join in singing with the different singers. God's presence is truly filling our house and our lives.

All the ladies present Thursday afternoon wanted a picture together. Don't they look great, especially that cute redhead in the turquoise.

Later that evening, I looked around and I'm the only man in the house. Boy, did I want to run for it. They watched a chick flick on the DVD. I hid and read. Just kidding.

They have been such a huge help to Kristy and me. God bless them all!

Can you name all of them?

Front Left to Right: Stephanie, Kalyn, Kristy
Back Row Left to Right: Julie, Robin, Rebecca, Tricia, Jennifer, Sandra

Thank you for sharing the song and the video. I helps me feel like I'm right there. I am praying every day and night for Kristy and your family. What wonderful, loving fellowship! I wish I was there in the picture with all the girls and could have watched the chick flick with them. Please tell Kristy that Trish in Atlanta that knows Dave M. from Indiana loves her and is praying for her! Love, Trish

A blogging friend sent me the link to your blog. I am a cancer patient also. Your lives have touched me and I thank you for what you're doing to keep Kristy's friends and family updated on her progress. What a blessing for you both. She's a very blessed woman.

Dear Milton and Kristy,

It was so wonderful to hear you all sing and laugh together! Kristy is blessed to be surrounded by so much love. You all are living out the faith you have proclaimed, and we are all blessed and encouraged to watch and share in this journey with you. Thank you!

What a great group of friends and family! I loved that photo. But you need to get some guys to come over and hang out with you!

You all are in my prayers every day. I have had some hip pain recently, and it has been waking me up a few times a night. I often think of you all then and take time to pray for you before I fall back asleep. God is faithful, and I am trusting Him to give you the courage and strength you need for each day.

Blessings from,
Carrie in NJ

Hi! You do not know me, but I am friends with Brittany Hughes...from your church! She told me a few months ago what was going on...and I evn heard about it at my church, we all continue to pray for your family. I go to Westside Family WOrship Center. Anyways, I wanted to thank you sooo much for this site and blogging on it every day. I had not been in touch with Brittany and forgot about this site so I hadnt kept up with you guys in a while. So when I got back on today a little part of me expected it to be very negative and with little hope. I continue to pray and stay positive for you guys but I am also not living it everyday so I just knew the joy would have warn off...but it hasnt! Its like I am reading it just like a couple of months ago when I first heard! you guys have staye very consistent...no...you have gotten closer to God and you just seem to trust him more and more. Thank you so much! I just hope and pray that if my family were ever going through something like this I could be like your family! you are awesome...and very strong! You are a PERFECT example of what a husband should be and I thnak you sooo much for that! Your wife seems VERY sweet and I just know that God is going to carry your whole family through whatever he has planned! God bless!

The video was wonderful and refreshing and so uplifting. Singing has a way of bringing calm in a storm, and light to the darkness. Thank God for the gift of music in our lives.
