KRISTY BLESSING OUR GRANDCHILDREN

Milton, here for Kristy:

Saturday afternoon one of the grandkids wasn't happy and was crying. From her bedroom, Kristy heard one of the daughters trying to correct her child, and it wasn't going real good.

Tricia and I were standing next to Kristy and comforted her letting her know that the grandchild would be OK.

A few moments passed and the child was still unhappy and crying.

Kristy said, "Let's try a different tactic."

Tricia and I said OK not really knowing what she meant.

Then Kristy began to pray out loud, "Lord put your hand on our grandchildren. Give those who watch them understanding to care for them. Bless our grandchildren. Keep them safe."

Tricia and I were amazed. There was such an anointing on Kristy's prayer. Her tactic works.

Then Kristy asked to have all the grands come into the bedroom. She wanted to give them a blessing. The kids acted like kids as the video begins and Claudia got her finger mashed when we sang toward the end, but it is really touching what Kristy did for our grandchildren.

Here is the video.

That was too precious! Those grandchildren are doubly blessed now! They will never forget it. I love how the boys were wanting to kiss their Nana. My son is the same with with his grandmother. Thanks so much for continuing to share this difficult journey with us. It was so nice to get to see Robin and Randy home with family again. I miss mine so much sometimes that the pain is unbearable. You all remain in our prayers. Know that there is a small church in Anchovy Jamaica praying for you.

Such a shining example for others to model. Kristy looks so young and so sweet. She's so precious. It is comforting to know that she is surrounded by such love, joy, and peace with her family. May God bless each and every one of you for making this difficult time for her as easy and joyous as possible. The video shows that she knows she is surrounded by love. My mother always said she never wanted to be put in a nursing home. We lost her at age 67, and she she got her wish. We were getting ready to move her home with Hospice care, but the Lord took her. She never spent one day in a nursing home. This video shows how much it means to be surrounded by family and how beautiful dying can be. It changes the preconceived notion of dying as ugly and fearsome and shows how family can make it as beautiful as the new birth it truly will be for Kristy.

What a wonderful, Biblical example for parents and grandparents everywhere.

I know my grandmother's and parents' and other's prayers for me are still working and I'm grateful.

Have a wonderful Sunday.

What a wonderful example of a family of Christ loving each other and singing the praises of Him.

In God's precious love, I am still praying.

with love.

Thanks so much for sharing this time of blessing with your grandkids. Their love and kisses for Kristy were so sweet. I know it means so much to her that she can be at home with those she loves and who love her.

Family is such a treasure! Surely our loved ones are gifts from the Lord to be treasured and cherished. Thanks for reminding me of this...again!

Love and prayers,
Carrie in NJ
